Las Vegas Challenge
Test your OSINT and cyber investigation skills against real world scenarios.
Overview
The Las Vegas challenge is not a game nor is it a training course. Its purpose is to provide the serious OSINT practitioner or online investigator, the opportunity to benchmark their skills against real world scenarios.
Your investigation and/or intelligence skills should ideally be at an intermediate to advanced level. Even if you are still starting out, give it a go anyway as this could well prepare you for what is to come and provide you a guide as to future skill development.
The challenge will take you through the streets of Las Vegas and it will be required to geolocate items ranging from images to social media posts, identify people, trace email addresses and telephone numbers, locate vehicles, find cameras and much more.
To achieve the certificate you will need 80% or more of correct answers.
No paid tools are required for this challenge, just your ingenuity, curiosity to discover information and time, do not forget the time, it is essential.

Who knows, I may looking into the questions too much and going further then I need to, but that is part of the challenge: what documentation is required? I better catch everything and sort it out later!!! The first question is not too difficult to understand, but to derive the correct answer from the evidence one must take many simple things into consideration; it is a perfect beginning challenge that definitely sets the bar. I had to stop the challenge so that I could take the Base Camp course, just so I can learn the trick-of-the -trade that will make my investigating more productive. This is the type of OSINT Challenge I have been searching for!
